THE RIVER IS OPEN
The boat moves across the river. Wait until a fish is beneath the marker, then drop your line. Each species carries its own score.

A blue face, a rounded flank and a quick opportunity near the surface.

Bright cheek markings make this compact catch easy to spot.

A silver speckled body drifting through the open lane.

Dark bars over a golden body: a clear target in bright water.

Warm fins and a patterned back bring a little colour to the log.

Follow the rose stripe through the current before committing a cast.

A long smooth silhouette and whiskers distinguish this midwater catch.

A bronze-green shape with enough value to reward a patient line.

A broad head and a dark flank announce a substantial catch.

A gold-olive runner with a bright eye and a crisp spiny outline.

A long spotted shape that makes a promising target below the boat.

The striped hunter rewards waiting for the right alignment.

A deliberately fanciful golden specimen with a generous game value.

The armoured silhouette is the highest-value species in this water.
This is a fictional game collection. Species, tiers and point values describe the game, not a real Australian fishing location or ecological survey.
READ THE WATER
There is no countdown pushing you forwards. Give the boat a moment to arrive at the right position, then let the line do its work.
The pale marker beneath the boat shows the path of the hook. A fish directly below that path is a better target than one just ahead of the bow.
Press Drop Hook, Space or Enter. The original game freezes the boat for an 880 ms hook drop and checks the nearest fish within ten lane units.
Consecutive catches add a small streak bonus. An empty cast resets the streak but keeps the points already earned. You still finish all six casts.
YOUR RIVER JOURNAL
Use SAVE after the sixth drop to keep a name and score on this device. The journal reads the same five-entry local board as the original game.
Open your journalThe game saves a result only when you press SAVE in its final panel.

TAKE THE LONG WAY HOME
A short run can be enough. Look for one species you have not caught, try a quieter moment between casts, or browse the atlas without starting a game. The water will still be here when you return.
Dovaleri is an independent browser fishing experience. It uses a fictional mixed-species river and a simple alignment mechanic, leaving real-world fishing advice and regulations outside the game.

Press the cast button when the marker beneath the boat is close to a fish. The boat stops during the cast, and the hook follows that vertical line. If no fish is within range, the hook returns empty.
Every voyage has six hook drops. After the sixth, open the final score panel to save the result or start another voyage. A miss uses one drop and resets the streak.
Yes. The original game draws five fish using its common, midwater, rare and trophy probabilities. A caught fish leaves the scene; the school refills when fewer than four remain.
A catch earns its species value, an alignment bonus of up to 80 points and a streak bonus. Consecutive catches add 26, 52, 78, 104 and then at most 130 streak points. A miss resets the streak.
No. The original game writes a score only when you press SAVE in its final panel. It keeps the five highest scores in this browser. The journal page can clear that board.
