A run without registration
You can begin a fishing run without entering a name or email address. The boat position, visible fish, cast count, score and streak are temporary browser state. They are used to show and resolve the current game.
There is no online player account, public leaderboard or server-side score endpoint. The game does not send your catches or score to another visitor. The site package contains no advertising pixels or analytics scripts.
What a saved journal entry contains
Golden Current is the original six-drop browser game supplied with the reference. Its SAVE button stores up to five names, scores, catch counts and save times in this browser under its original local-board key. This explicit save action is separate from the optional site preference. Clear the board from the journal page when you want a fresh start.
The run name is a label you choose, not a request for your legal identity. Avoid entering private information on a shared device. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to view the local journal.
Entries live in localStorage for this website. They do not synchronise with another device, and they can disappear if site data is cleared or storage is unavailable. The website has no remote copy from which to restore them.
Your preference and clearing progress
The storage preference itself is retained locally to remember whether optional saves are allowed. Essential-only mode lets you play without keeping named run records between visits. Choosing that mode also clears this site’s optional local progress.
The journal and Cookies & storage pages include a clear-progress control. That action removes the local results while retaining the preference. Browser site-data controls provide a separate way to remove everything associated with this domain.
The contact desk
The message form creates an email draft using the information you enter. It asks your email application to open that draft; it does not send the message from the website or verify delivery. Your email services handle it if you choose to send.
Use [email protected] for a question about the site. Include the game or page detail needed to explain the issue and avoid sending credentials or unrelated personal material.
Hosting and future changes
Serving a page requires ordinary web requests. A hosting provider may retain operational logs with request paths, status codes, browser details and network addresses according to its configuration. Those records are distinct from the device-only fishing journal.
The current site uses local images, styles and scripts rather than third-party embeds. If an online feature is introduced later, its information handling should be explained before use. This page describes the experience available now.
